Stopping your account from spamming other people on Facebook?

About a week ago my friend posted something that said something like "LOLL Nick what are you doing in this video??" with a link next to it. i clicked the link but it was spam so i left quickly. But last night i saw that my account started spamming all my friends with the same message without me knowing, but it still looks like im spamming them. Please tell me how to stop this from happening,
