HELP! new puppy owner.?

With the potty training we just kept are dog in the cage the whole time for two or three days. The only time she got to com out was when she had to go to the bathroom, and at that time she went straight outside then straight back to her cage. With the biting just hold her mussle and blow on her nose when ever it happens. But biting is normal for every puppy.
