How do I make Hungarian Goolash..at least I think its Hungarian?

My aunt used a stainless steel pot maybe 8 quart and mixed ,I think a tender corned beef with onions and already boiled potatoes "i think" and not sure what else but called it goolash..She mixed it up together and it was like almost a modern corned beef hash but better..She is dead now and no one knows the receipe..do you have any idea what she was making and is this hungarian goolash.?
