Christians: what are your thoughts on surrogate mothers?

I am a Christian and I believe in fulfilling God's will. If I were to get a feeling or to have a thought of becoming a surrogate mother and I prayed about it and got an answer why do some Christians just blow off that it is a calling from God and criticize me saying "in the Bible it says..." I'm sorry this isn't a very good question but I'm just frustrated about this.
